In your world, how are non-heterosexual people (e.g. transgender, bisexual, homosexual, etc.) treated?

In Iberium, nobody cares because they don’t even have the concept of the categories of sexuality. They have a hedonistic culture and engage with people of both genders. Extinction has never been an issue because statistically it was impossible not to mate with someone of the opposite gender.

In Valenciaga, people are highly aware of their inner urges for the same gender but they repress it because of an irrational fear that they will be judged by others. In Valenciaga, capital punishment is the consequence of engaging with others of the same gender. But it’s only on paper. Not a single person has been tried nor found guilty in the last 3023BRT years. Nobody calls the sentinels when they catch people behind closed doors either. Valenciaga condemns it theoretically and ideologically; but practically it is widespread.

In Mallorquísimos, they are having an identity crisis because they are beginning to see the hypocrisy of the neighboring city of Valenciaga but at the same time they place a lot of importance on the aesthetic value dichotomous behaviour of genders. Put simply, they like having engagements with the opposite gender but they uphold masculine gender and female gender ideal behaviours. The result is that they decriminalized same gender sexual activities but they upheld strict gender roles. Men must act like men; and women the same.
