You're the coach. In 2-3 concise sentences, what's the strategy for Cavs/Warriors going in?

CAVS: TT crashes the boards for 36 mpg, other big man to halfcourt while the 3 perimeter guys get back, interrupt the fast break and run them off the 3pt line the way you have the whole playoffs. turn them into 2pt shooters. make them finish in traffic and then hit FT, which the dubs have been horrible at.

DUBS: play a LOT of zone and force lebron to shoot, utilize the trap on every ballhandler not named lebron who wants to play PG. run them off the 3pt line and STAY VERTICAL, the cavs will win a FT battle. let lebron shoot 30 times if he wants, but shift the defensive focus to every shooter who makes 2 in a row. the cavs have so many people who can get hot from outside that you have to go 100% for 4 quarters and be aware of who has the hot hand.

i honest to god don't know what the dubs can really do except hope the cavs go cold from outside. they're going to keep turning it over too much, they're going to keep missing FT and they're going to lose on the boards, but they are the better shooting team by a small margin.

if this were a fight between 2 punchers, they'd have to do everything in their power to keep it off the ground. they have to get easy buckets and hit open looks but most importantly, they have to play with more effort than they have in their entire lives, if they buy into the hype that they're superior for one minute, the series is over.

cavs win if the games are ugly and the cavs win if they win the 50/50 battles. you have to give more effort and nobody has done it yet. it's hard to do. young teams usually fail in situations like this because they have no clue what to be ready for. the cavs are similar but have had to overcome so much already and have a leader that has been through the fires time and time again that i give them a big advantage in the gut check dept
