Buyer's agent mechanics in a seller's market

At the end of the day, we are sales people. But all agents handle themselves differently. I'm up here in the Seattle area, and all my buyers always ask me what I thought of the market. I tell them straight up that unlike a lot of those in my industry, I think the market prices will come down a little bit more here in the near future. The whole industry keeps singing the same tune though. Meaning they all think rates will come down, and that will drive prices up. IMO, I don't think rates will come down much further and will stay elevated, and there'll be more inventory coming this summer/fall and people will realize that there's not enough of a buyer pool to keep prices going up. All my buyers decide to buy anyways.

What I'm saying is that all agents are different, have different years of experience, and have different mindsets when representing their clients. You kind of have to get lucky on finding the right agent that has your best interest at heart and wants to make sure you get into a good home.
