10% of Homes Being Resold In Vancouver Have Never Been Lived In

A millennial chiming in. Vancouver is a dream place and a shit hole place when me and other University students think of as potential internships and future post-grad job places. Even with tech, the place is stupid. Tech companies like Amazon, Facebook, Microsoft do have jobs there but they pay 20-30% less than their US counter parts.

Factor in the cost of living in Vancouver, why the hell would anyone want to work there? I'd like to stay in Canada and I'm in Alberta but given the crap ass economy here and the hilarious housing market in BC, I'm looking at Ontario/Quebec. There's 10 sizeable Game Development studios in Montreal and cost of living there is 50% less.

I have family in Vancouver and my parents originally immigrated to Vancouver. I've been going there as a child since I was born, at least once a year to visit. It saddens me I'll probably never be able to have a life there.
