17 with a new license. I accidentally ran a red light and t-boned someone

This is just a fun little story that came out of the accident that doesn't have any legal significance. Just thought I'd share this with you guys for helping me out

This happened on a first date with someone I know from school. I thought it would a fun way to spend the night so I asked him to see a movie with me. I get to his house and text him that I'm outside and he says "hang on"... half an hour passes. Eventually I ask him if I'm even at the right house and he says "yeah I'm just looking for my wallet. Just come inside the door's open."

I go inside and he STILL can't find his wallet. I tell him to forget it because we're going to miss the movie and that I'll just pay for him.

On the way to the theater he tells me this charming story about how he dropped a bunch of molly in the woods and got a bunch of mosquito bites on his feet. I thought he was joking at first but he was being dead serious. At that point I was thinking to myself "good lord what's this guy's deal". I'm not into the drug scene AT ALL. The only crazy drug thing I do is take three advils at once.

When we finally get to theater I pay for his ticket and he starts talking about how he's thirsty. I was getting really annoyed at this point so I bought him a water so he'd stop complaining.

Then he suddenly drops a bomb on me right before we see the movie "Hey- wanna go to prom with me" "Uh... I might not me in town..." "Haha- cool."

The movie was actually really good (we saw IT). There's this scene in it where all the kids are in their underwear swimming around in a lake. He apparently thought that was the best point in the movie to put his arm around me. "Haha- I have really short arms" He wan't kidding- he could barely get his arm around my shoulder

After the movie I ended up totaling my car- which was arguably the worst part of the night. He kept on telling me how "the next date will be better" but I don't think I have enough cars or patience for another one.
