18 year old male, I weight 300lbs and struggling to shed it

Regarding the people staring stuff honestly most people don't give a shit and those who do are just insecure with themselves, even if you don't like fat people it would be illogical and irrational to carry that against someone trying to fix their health.

"At the end of the day, i have respect for anyone who wants to make a change for themselves and start training and improving their body and health. In my opinion, the gym/training/dieting lifestyle is by far the most fun and rewarding way to live your life. The people that laugh at the overweight/obese people in the gym are a disgrace, I applaud them for having the courage and determination to train and want to make a change for themselves despite the obvious hardships they would face. At the end of the day, its all up to how much you want it yourself. Some people don't care that much and are happy with their bodies and it's not a big issue for them, good for them, but for anyone to take the piss out of and ridicule anyone trying their best to lose weight/gain muscle and make a change for themselves, especially if they are finding it hard due to their genetics, make me sick. If you want it, you will get it, and will eventually prove the haters wrong. And that is one of the best feelings a human being can experience." - Zyzz

Some tips I have:

Drink only water and green tea - if you have the self control to restrain from alcohol/fizzy drinks/everything not water and green tea, you will gain valuable self control/discipline that will carry on in other areas of life, plus it's a lot of calories that you're cutting out just from drinking whilst also improving your health drastically.

Walk daily - Just for 1 hour while listening to a podcast, music or just thinking or doing whatever you want to do. Just make sure you make the effort to walk daily, bonus points for doing it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.

Try keto - I understand keto probably isn't for everyone, but when your body is in ketosis you burn fat like a motherfucker. There are health concerns regarding it so i'd consult your GP or whatever and have regular check ups. (I'm not sure the risks exactly or even if there are any, it's just what I've heard thrown around so I can't really be here to answer questions regarding this)

Set yourself 2/3 big goals that you want to achieve regarding health/fitness, then 1-3 smaller goals that will lead up to your big ones then as many other literal daily/weekly challenges that will help you with your goals or just as like a side quest type thing - Make it like a game, it doesn't have to be a chore, enjoy it. Achieving things you've set out aiming at is so much more satisfying than those things just happening without you really noticing them.
