Rant Wednesday

Gym seems to somehow be getting busier everyday…was expecting new year and other crowd to be gone by now but oh well, I’m happy that they’re sticking to their resolutions. Hit a clean 495 single (usually very ugly rep @ 230 lbs!) today on bench press and had a person come up to me to ask what they could do to improve their bench, and I couldn’t think of answer (I honestly don’t know myself, just gain weight, bench 3x/week). I definitely think the notion that moving decent weight means that you know what you’re doing is often wrong. Also I tried to go for 1 RM on squat and deadlift today as well and only got 495 and 585. My squat and bench are the same, WOW! Feelsbad
