19,000 Oregonians will lose food stamp benefits under new Trump rules

No one designed that structure. No one is dictating that number of people in that exec -> manager -> worker chain of command. No one is deciding the price on houses or cheeseburgers. It just emerges naturally over time.

None of that is true. On an anecdotal level, my friend owns a bar, he sells cheeseburgers, he sets the prices on them and tells me about the struggle. He has competition to consider, but he definitely is the guy that sets the prices on cheeseburgers there.

On a broader level, capitalism is not some state of nature system that we just stumbled upon. It's a human created system full of humans making choices. Money is an abstraction that we all agree upon being real.

Capitalism is full of rules and regulations. We've tried it unfettered and realized that we need socialist institutions like the fire department because if we leave fire fighting the free market shit gets fucked.
