Will this lower the cost of fuel, or are we just making it so stations can make more money? What about the employees?

Taking the legally mandated break is imperative. However, the notion of treating gas attendants as subordinate beings akin to servitude is morally questionable. In my view, it is time to liberate these individuals and grant them their inherent freedom. Personally hailing from a quaint town in Oregon, where self-service at gas stations is the norm, I believe that this practice should be universal. It is worth noting that gas attendants have other duties besides pumping gas and laying off some of them may provide them with an opportunity to pursue more fulfilling career paths. This is especially relevant for those trapped in the minimum wage cycle, where progress is impeded, and prospects for advancement are scant.
