What part of “I have worked with animals for the last 15 years” did you not understand? I quite literally encounter PACKS of wild dogs commonly have bully mix breeds in them. If you aren’t aware pit bull isn’t even a breed it is a larger term that put in bully breeds together into one… so if you mean by I can’t be ignorant to the fact that more people are going to encounter and be bit by a “pit bull” which is 4 different breeds of dogs then yes you are correct there will be more people that you hear about being bit by the cover term pit bull .. not to mention the negative stereotypes around the term pit bull that always seems to get the public in a fuss(the media uses that to get more clicks btw) in fact some of the time the dog isn’t in fact a pit bull it’s some other type such as a mastiff or some other bully looking dog like a boxer… I have been bitten by dogs over 15 times in the last 2 years and only one of those was from a “pit bull” and it was a nip on my finger I am not saying that these things don’t happen I’m saying that the owners should be held responsible because they are responsible not the breed of dog.
