2018 4 star QB Artur Sitkowski commits to Miami

Well, the same day that article was posted, this one popped up too stating that two new QBs had appeared on UF's recruiting board and since then, Fields has gotten an offer and its being speculated that an offer for Milton is imminent.

Sitkowski was offered last summer before his somewhat underwhelming junior season began and then six months later, UF's QB coach isn't recruiting him heavily, he doesn't make an appearance at UF's Junior Day, and UF starts tracking two other QBs closely. The writing is on the wall that the Gators were pursuing other options before Sitkowski committed to Miami though its anyone's guess why that might be.

Maybe UF got wind that Miami was trending better with the kid. Maybe UF backed off after he announced he would be transferring to IMG (UF has never signed a kid from IMG). I'm sure Sitkowski, Miami, and UF will offer explanations that put each of their situations in a positive light.
