22y male who never had serious relationship

It's pretty normal at 22, you're still super young in the grand scheme of things. Lots of people have no dating experience at 22, even if they won't admit it at the time.

Honestly there's no simple fix for being shy or nervous, sometimes you just have to force yourself to do things that you find uncomfortable, and it gets easier with experience. Making sure you look good does help with confidence though - a couple years of hitting the weights and learning to style myself better has made things much easier because it's easier to believe that people are actually interested in me.

Go on dating apps and talk to people. Go to parties and talk to people. Try to meet friends of friends on nights out because it gives you an easier "in".

You're gonna have plenty of options as you get older and your career takes off, just in the meantime you need to make sure you stay in shape, present yourself well, and do whatever you can to get experience.
