Cool, so you agree with my statement that to say "height is not important" is gaslighting. It's OBVIOUSLY important, and the studies back that up.

We could argue for years about HOW important, which is why my statements were general. Some studies show a majority of women prefer tall men, some studies show most women will not date a man shorter than them, other studies might show that it's not EXACTLY past the majority threshold (like one of the studies you mentioned...49.5%), but remember there's also margin of error and reporting bias. Sometimes people SAY they are open to something, but will not necessarily act on it. Or will not report it in a study because they are concerned about looking bad.
