I realize I’m way too late on this one, but I really like the question and possibilities. Thinking a little outside the box, the first thing I’d do is buy a bus ticket to Denver in cash. Transfer in Denver to one of the mountain buses that run up to the ski areas. With me I’d bring a minimalist winter camping setup (winter sleeping bag and bivy kit) and skis. Buy a week pass at the window using a fake photo ID, minor disguise, and cash. Ski all day with a mask or balaclava on since no one would think twice about people covering their face at a ski area. I’d have use of bathrooms, lodge, and food during the day. Once it gets closer to last run - dip into thick trees and setup a winter bivy and get a good night sleep before repeating for a week. I’m sure there are some holes in my plan, but could be a fun way to hide in plain sight.
