If you're earnestly hitting the amraps, good fucking luck running 5/3/1 twice in a week . That's literally 2 days between lifts. If you're newer you can give it a shot, but the stronger you get the worse idea that sounds. I run 5/3/1 PPLx2, but the second half of the week is volume 5x10 at 65%, so you can probably do a 4x5-8 on your second half of the week. To give you an idea of what you're in for, I just hit a 275x8 amrap today, and the idea of hitting 250x5+ in 2 days sounds insane. I (as well as wendler) value the amrap and if I don't hit the 250 for 10, I'd be disappointed. The volume days being put on a separate days let you work at a slightly higher than suscribed intensity than if you hit them after your main sets and will actually let you recover
