Those are usually done differently. That’s a single entitlement check. Control is much more complicated. You can’t just check season pass ownership, because what if people bought the DLCs individually? Or what if people find the loophole where you never need to own the base game, just buy the season pass and you get it for free? They also can’t check if you own the base game because if you bought a disc copy you never actually had the base game entitlement on your account. It seems like a similar thing, but the systems don’t work as soon as you get more complicated than a single check.
