£525 goes a long way on the used component market...

I PMed another guy and im on mobile so I hope you don't mind the copy and paste of my response to them. Monitor stuff is later in the message, can only buy instore

Hey,

CeX is what you want. Go to https://uk.webuy.com/search/index.php?stext=%2A&rad_which_stock=2, choose your category on the right, and browse through.

For the stuff they don't sell, go to /r/hardwareswapuk (where I got the mobo, cooler, and case) or avforums (where I got the GPU).

Whilst I hate CeX's business practices I can't argue with a 16GB DDR4 stick for £32 (OOS now :-( ) or a 7870 for £32 (also OOS, my order was cancelled). Keep an eye out on their website.

Go to a CeX store and look round back. They often hide away monitors and they hate selling them, so often lie about the stock levels, but if you point them out then they'll sell them. 17" £0.25, 19" £0.25, 15" £0.10, 22" £18.

Also, get up early and check eBay "ending soonest". That's how I got the Phillips so cheap.

I used to be a "business" seller myself reselling from CeX but I've stopped that now. I like to keep the fact that they sell PC hardware and monitors so cheap quiet as I know if word gets out "businesses" will be quick to resell on eBay taking all the stock.

Hope this helps!
