"7 reasons to marry an Engineer" - Read "Beta"

Oh man this is great. I'm a freshman mechanical engineer, and while the description headings themselves are actually pretty accurate, I would NEVER apply any of this to women, period.

I've been looking to get my story out to TRP for a while so here goes. I was a cringe-worthy beta (as described in this article) during all of high school, except near the end when I got myself rejected (that story is pretty hilarious now) and hopped on the Self-Improvement Express. It's amazing how much ONLY going to the gym and quitting (wait for it) porn and masturbation did. I began to see the light, and I started out learning game between the summer of high school and college with "Conquer your Campus."

That was the start of it all. Since, I've

  • read "The Way of the Superior Man"
  • "Models" by Mark Manson
  • that David DeAngelo book
  • many others that I don't feel like listing
  • have done a lot of self reviews after certain interactions -discovered the TRP

originally, I was a little turned off by the fact that a lot of people here seem to just hate women. I unsubscribed. Less than a month later, I was back. There is no denying reality, and this shit is true and it works.

So after months of self-improvement, including learning Game, going to the gym, squeezing classes into my schedule that I really enjoy, becoming financially literature and investing, getting back to reading classics, and just educating myself on anything I find interesting, I have no intention of "getting" a girlfriend over the next for years.

Long story short, engineering's fine. A LOT of betas, and the hot girls that are in it are just so full of their illusion of themselves, and yet they can't help being attracted to an alpha engineer like me in the midst of all these other clowns.
