To be fair I know plenty of conservatives who trash Breitbart for being completely one sided and being Trump fanboys. I believe you're correct that the right doesn't hide their biases, they embrace them.

Meanwhile the left/middle pretend that the mainstream media sources like NYTimes and WaPo just present the facts and any bias is minor - or merely because the journalists are right/correct. It's the facts any smart person would come to and not any bias.

The main difference is, with the exception of maybe MSNBC and HuffPo, the left-leaning biases of news orgs are much more subversive and non-obvious than Fox/Brietbart. So unless you are familiar with the topic and are cynical enough to pay attention it's easy to miss. It's a shame.
