About Me clichés

Honestly, I'm starting to get really tired of excessive navel-gazing and overly personal/specific blog posts, like the ones that go "One year ago I was longing for a child and now I'm holding my beautiful baby and having so many emotions" blah blah blah. If the blogger has something actually important or new to say about infertility, pregnancy, childbirth, parenting or any other topic under the sun, I am all ears. But often I think bloggers just use their blog as a diary for stream of consciousness reflection on their inner emotional life and I am tired of it. At the end of the day, I guess I care less about their feelings and want content that actually contributes something new to the internet.

I am sure there are plenty of people who want the navel-gazing, and that's fine, but to me it's just been done to death. Few people are going to have an emotion to discuss in a way that it hasn't been discussed before.
