Account banned because of wrongly accused as "Unusually high number of refund requests" when it is the restaurants that fuck up my orders all the time.

As a delivery driver, I believe you, I end up delivering sealed and unsealed packages that have items missing.

Nothing I can do about it.

I’ve made it a point to ALWAYS ask the restaurant staff if everything is in the package. They say yes, I move on.

I get to a customer and hand them their package, and as am about to leave, the recipient asks me “where’s the (insert missing item name)”

All I can say is “that’s the package that was handed to me with your name on it, everything should be in there, I asked the person that handed it to me if everything was in there and they said yes”

This happens several times a day sometimes.

What annoys me even more is that many restaurants are not sealing their packages with tamper proof stickers or stapling it shut, so when they forget something, because it’s an open package they can easily say “the driver must have taken it”

I’ve gotten flags on my account claiming Ive tampered with an order because there was something missing.

If all these companies followed the rules and sealed their packages, then drivers would not be held liable for missing items as long as he package is sealed with no evidence of tampering.

So as much as you hate not getting what you ordered, we hate that even more because we are being held liable for something we didn’t do.
