Adderal just might have saved a life or my freedom tonight.

Obviously I don't know anything other than the content of this post and it's good that you cut out Coke and meth. I definitely don't know how long you've been without or if you used significantly but those are both strong drugs. I think it might be helpful to consider a few things. For one the emptiness you feel could be a withdrawal symptom. It's strange to talk about taking a stimulant to "depress" yourself. To me that sounds like it's masking some lingering withdrawal or craving. I'm confused because you said you took it before the even had happened but you're happy it got you through it. Part of me is wondering if perhaps your kid noticed some behavior of yours and called their mom for help. I'm sure whatever dose you took was probably low compared to any meth or Coke binges you may have had but even so any similar pattern of behavior could lead others and even yourself down the road back to where you were. If you are worried about some of your thoughts or behaviors perhaps stimulants are part of the problem. Any stimulant has the potential to cause psychosis. If this was something that you've been dealing with prior to abusing stimulants perhaps you should seek out some therapy and if not perhaps some herbal medicine to help restore your brain balance back to where it should be. Either way you should be abstaining from any further abuse. People often seem to get things twisted but there is no way you can straighten things out if you don't at least know where they are coming from. What might be a harmless or helpful thing to you could be the start of another nightmare for those who care for you.
