"Affluenza" teen Ethan Couch sentenced to nearly 2 years of jail

I don't know his probation rules after leaving jail but.... The initial 10 years was great. He seems like the type to fail a drug test or drinking. He would spend an infinite loop of going to jail/probation. That's the sad thing about our system. Rather then focusing on the help we just put people in a loop. Then eventually when you fail enough you go to prison forever. So in the end we pay a lifetime to house someone.

I learned it a bit from my one friend. He is as smart as a door knob. Its a bit sad in this case. A mexican born from a crackhead mom to be adopted to a white family. He was born with some health conditions and in his older age a few mental problems. He ended up in prison for touching his gf's breast. Long story. But he was the type to go to the judge and say he drank 2 bottles every weekend. I hang out with him on weekends hes lucky to get 3 drinks in before hes drunk and asleep. Anyway he ended up with 2 years probation. In that time he violated everything. Missed a class or 2. Went on the internet and came over to drink/go to bars. Yes we could have cut ties to help fight it. But he had friends of his equal brain usage that would have brought him down a darker path. It was in the best interest to at least have him with us and monitored like parents. So to make the story short he went in and out of jail twice. He then ended up with some sort of plea bargain and ended up in jail for 2 years. Luckily for him that bargain ended the probation. Otherwise he would of looped back for a long time. I wish somewhere along the line they checked his mental competence. Hes always on 4-5 meds and needs some sort of government interaction to help guide him to a normal routine life.
