After Las Vegas massacre, Democrats urge gun laws; Republicans silent

So your solutions to gun violence are "morals and education?" Fine. What minimum level of both is necessary to prevent further suicides, homicides, and mass tragedies like the ones we see virtually every day?

Further, what evidence of said levels must citizens possess in order to obtain guns? Where does that evidence come from? Who certifies the documents, and who licenses those that perform certification?

And how would your approach with it's potentially brand new levels of bureaucracy prove more effective than the stance of other countries which don't rely on criminals learning ontological vagueness and instead instead have gun control?

Surely you have answers to these things as opposed to just hollow smugness designed to shut down discussion before someone has to say that there is literally no human cost so high, no number of men, women or children so great that it should make America abandon it's principles and say:

"Maybe 'guns for literally anyone' doesn't work in practice "
