AITA for allowing my daughter to have breast reduction surgery?

NTA. I had reduction surgery within the last year (I was a double K) and it was the best thing I've ever done for myself. My back and neck pain was basically gone within 72 hours after my surgery.

The most important thing is that she find a good surgeon and be fully informed on the surgery and its after effects/potential complications. If you or she has a OB/GYN ask them if they know of anyone or recommend someone (how I found mine. She was amazing!) and go from there.

The other thing is cost. Mine was covered by insurance but if hers isn't, it can get pricy even with a pre authorization. The surgeon should be able to help set expectations and baseline cost estimates and give you an idea on if they think insurance will cover it.
