AITA for not letting our kids eat my wife’s cooking?

ESH about this spat. She was tired, he was tired. She reacted defensively, he reacted defensively. They both sniped at each other (she told him to “stop being a baby,” then refused to talk to him altogether; he refused to serve something she worked hard to make, then told her to stop thinking she was right.) The chicken may have been too pink to be safe, it may have been a smidge pink but was fine, we don’t really have enough details. The fight seemed to be about deeper issues than the chicken.

More generally, he 100 percent needs to be more helpful at home. Do a lot more of those chores and take on a lot more of the kid duty. She’s your partner not your mom.
