Not for feeling hurt that you werent told she was getting married, but for telling her that "there are still consequences with her eloping"

What kind of consequences? The silent treatment? keeping her and her new husband at arm's length? Not talking to them? Telling her you 'need space' ???

Come on, really?

The fact that she seemed shocked that you needed space because she eloped, suggests that she didnt seem to think you would care one way or the other. Why is that? What is it that youre not disclosing here?

More information is needed, but I still stand by YTA for your 'consequences' statement, as well as the 'need space' statement.
