In my state. because babies do not have any earned income they qualify for medicaid! thus every single baby in my state because babies cannot work due to silly child labor costs. can be covered by medicaid!

what i think needs to be done. is forcing babbies to work 40 hours a week. if they can cry they can work!

we expanded medicaid so that three times federal poverty levels allows one to get medicaid!

federal poverty levels is about 14k a year or min wage. thus if both parents are earning min wage they qualify for medicaid!

so medicaid is to encourage people to have more children. currently Americans are reproducing below replacement rates. without immigration we would have a population decline!

medicaid is not for the poorest of the poor. it is for everyone below middle class! it is our slow progression to socialized medicine!
