You are wrong from my experience this is 100% on respawn not EA back in 2016 I bought 2 games bf1 and Titan fall 2 that's about 120$ (if I'm not mistaken about TF2 price ) I spent most of the day playing the campaign of both games and I was done with the campaign I wanted to play online multiplayer but I couldn't after trying for at least 1hour I quit the game and saw that none of the games are in my library anymore went to the support and explained everything he simply told me that my bank refused to accept the transaction i told the support that I have already finished the games campaign etc they said it's ok and have a nice day Point is this is literally what happened to OP and still my account never got banned
