The best part about this complaint is that this could have been resolved by simply asking if the problem is the pump, if it is determined in a reasonable amount of time that it is the pump, will the diagnostic be applied to the repair or is it another line item. This should have been hammered out from the get go.

The scummy part of this complaint is that this is a rental. This is something that can be written off come tax season and essentially you only initially pay out of pocket for but get to deduct from your other taxes. So you're bitching about prices but you're going to get most of it back either way, this makes it less upstanding because it is really not about money that you lost, it's about posturing over not wanting to pay the fee and threatening bad reviews until you get your way.
