I am frustrated and saddened by the amount of anti equality (anti feminism) comments I see on Reddit. (X Post form TwoX)

I think the majority of the world does actually dislike feminism (not that I do). This could be explained by the "power of labels" which states that as long as something is labeled a certain way it will eventually gain qualities that fit the label itself. This concept is not an opinion. It a widely accepted fact that has been proven countless times and is prevalent throughout the psychology community. According to the power of labels, the label "feminism" gives the meaning that equal rights could be achieved on the grounds that the rights of women are more vital or important. This is reinforced with the fact that a large majority of feminist work and success has only been centered around women, which is undeniable. Going back to the "power of labels", some men believe all feminists to be fat, ugly, and stupid, or at least joke about it. This kind of labeling may have given rise to these lovely women...

These people are not the average feminist, however, they are some of the most prominent figures within feminism and they are also the ones that scream the loudest. Ultimately, a movement or party is defined by the ones that make the most noise, and these radicals are making much more noise than anyone else.
