Do you think America is getting ahead of itself regarding the elections of minorities/women for president?

My concern is whether she'll fight for the people or if she'll be more like Obama and try to wheel and deal with political opponents who have consistently negotiated in bad faith.

Wow....I'm speechless. President Obama attempted to work with Republicans briefly, but gave up on that to pursue the PPACA (Which, based on the tone of your comment, you believe is a Republican bill that was a compromise to Republicans, despite all the evidence showing it was a compromise to moderate Democrats to secure the votes to avoid a filibuster) and has been stubborn ever since.

If Hillary is anything like Bill, she will actually try to negotiate and compromise in good faith. Negotiating in good faith means not starting at an extreme in hopes of "negotiating" to what you originally wanted. President Clinton understood compromise; something that President Obama and the current batch of Democrats do not (although, the opportunities have been very limited). Sometimes that means accepting less of what you want, or sometimes that means giving the opposition something they want in exchange for something you want.

Perfect example of negotiating in bad faith is the government shutdown of the PPACA. (Disclaimer: I 100% disagree with the GOP's decision to withhold funding to protest the healthcare law) Republicans offered to end the shutdown if the President agreed to delay the employer mandate. President Obama refused, and eventually the Republicans caved. Then, just a few weeks later, President Obama delayed the employer mandate. So, instead of working with Republicans to do something that he was already planning to do (as many pundits claimed), he would rather keep fighting and extend the shutdown since it was hurting the image of the GOP.

I'm not trying to give Republicans a pass, but President Obama has absolutely not tried to work with Republicans, even when given the clear and easy opportunity.
