America is unprepared for the "jobs apocalypse" automation will bring

Haven't we been shouting about the "jobs apocalypse" since the early days of automated manufacturing?

That was the 50's wasn't it?.. Full Disclosure, Am only 28.... It's been nearly 70 years and the "apocalypse" isn't any closer to happening today than it was then......

What exactly are the grounds for this persistent global conspiracy theory?

Elon Musk and Apple have even de-automated certain aspects of their manufacturing because there ARE jobs that robots just can't do as well as we can, and that is a really important fact to remember.

EDIT: EXCUSE ME? I was asking a legitimate question, why do soo many Redditors not know how to use the downvote button properly?

How about you try replying to the effing message instead of just hitting downvote? Maybe explain why you feel that way? Could try that too.....
