American Icon and Playboy Founder, Hugh M. Hefner, Has Died

This that you said is so logical, yet so many people find it to understand. Women have value and worth throughout their lifespan, not just as vessels for sex and reproduction when they're young and hot. And yes, the super popular media drags a lot of the national mindset toward a shallow, vain, unfulfilling (for many/most women) narrative. Lots of men value women throughout their lifespan and in many different roles that women can take, from moms, to athletes, to business leaders, to just regular people to talk to. But 90% of media focuses on them for their youth and beauty. Being the subject of that, in the media, sucks, because JUST as strong as the reality of men's biological drives is the reality that women are human beings and what matters about them (including what to themselves) are their character, skills, personalities, and human individuality, their inner lives, employment, hopes/dreams/aspirations, ideas, opinions, social relationships through their entire lifespan, etc. -- not just how they look, how big their boobs are, what age they are, or what they can offer to men in terms of youth, beauty, and fertility. It SUCKS to live in a world where women are literally not even portrayed in hollywood after age 35, or in a very small percentage, even in older roles and alongside older men. It SUCKS to live in that environment and it doesn't have to be that way, and in many parts of the world it is not. So yes I will celebrate Hugh Hefner's death.
