American Police Killed More People in March (111) Than the Entire UK Police Have Killed Since 1900

Ah so you are going to use the usual "Militia gun ownership is the same as civilian gun ownership in Switzerland!".

Nope, you are wrong.

There are around 3 million guns in the hands of civilians in Switzerland. The guns that are taken home from the soldiers in the militia are not counted under civilian gun ownership and not part of the statistic since these guns do not belong to soldiers that can take them home.

These 3 million guns are ALL privately owned guns totally unrelated to the soldiers currently in the army.

Now, you arrive at the usual "B-but ammo is banned and restricted in Switzerland!" That every single anti-gunner loves to spew each time Switzerland is mentioned.

Since many of you guys have poor reading comprehension, let me explain to you what this ammo thing means.

It means that the soldiers currently in the army don't get the free ammo that they used to get. This however doesn't mean that ammo is restricted or forbidden in Switzerland. In fact, anyone without a criminal record can casually enter a gun shop in Switzerland and buy all the ammo they want and keep it at home without any problem or control (since I bet that you are going to say something about cops searching the house for ammo or something similar). Ammo can even be ordered online and sent to your house by mail, the same works for guns as well.

Switzerland has the second least strict gun laws in the world when it comes to legal gun ownership, after the USA. It has also less strict gun laws than certain US states.

I'm sorry, but don't really try to teach a guy that has owned guns for more than a decade how the gun laws of my country work.
