An article from Buzzfeed "News" about 1200 calorie diets, full of starvation mode and bull

I’ve been doing a zig zag diet from 1200 to 1600 calories, and I’ve been slowly and steadily loosing weight. Started at 216 pounds, now I’m at 198! And honestly I’ve been feeling comfortable. I wouldn’t even say I’ve been doing emotional eating as much as I used to, instead distracting myself with other stuff. it’s actually sometimes even hard to get over 1400, as long as i avoid sweets and such. I would say my success is thanks to quarantine, because when school was a thing I would frequently end up buying sweet pastry and such at the school buffet to fill in for my energy, because i often missed breakfast and had no snacks. The only thing I really try to do is avoid the kitchen, because it tends to trigger me into snacking on random stuff you don’t have to prepare, like cereal.
