Any spike in repeat crimes after California sped prisoner release? New research says no

What this guy fails to understand is police and the justice system is all that's standing in between civility and chaos. The public fails to understand (as you mentioned above, out of sight out of mind) how thin the veil of civility actually is as well as how quickly it would evaporate. I live in Sonoma County and if your heads not in the sand and you don't live behind a keycoded gated vineyard it's so clear to see that the cartels and gangs literally run our county. From blatant midday shootings at soccer gangs (2 weeks ago), to the weekly gang fight stabbing, or monthly large multi-kilo meth/heroin bust its not all sunshine and rainbows out here in the agrarian Disneyland.

No organization is perfect, but keep up the good fight and overall sane citizens agree with you and what you're saying in this thread.
