Anyone else ever have dreams of UFOs?

Had a dream a few months back that was pretty terrifying. It was one of those lucid dreams where you remember every inch of detail. I was in this weird building that had an all glass top so the night sky was visible. It was like some sort of event where there were lots of people, it may have been like a charity benefit or something like that. I recall that there were many people I knew there. One of my old friends from kindergarten was there and so were a bunch of people I can remember from some point in my life but are not currently in my life and haven't been for many years. So, I'm at this event in a place that has this glass ceiling. I'm there bullshitting with some people and I recall a conversation with a friends mom that is a college professor. We had been discussing books and I had told her about this book written by a journalist that hiked Everest. She had told me about a few decent books, some of which I had read. And then all of a sudden I remember there was this bright light in the sky and I remember grabbing my friends shoulder and slapping him on the back repeatedly to get his attention to show him that off in the distance was a massive disc shaped UFO. The entire place erupted into a panic. We all had just witnessed a UFO pass over top of us in a parallel type of flight path. We all saw it fly right past us at a decent rate of speed but we all got a good look. People were in an obvious panic and the room was very loud with commotion. I can't recall how long it was from when we had seen it but it felt like some time had passed. Then it happened, the UFO came back. This time it was at a perpendicular flight path. That's to say it was far off in the distance but coming right at us in a direct path. The time it took for us all to notice it again and to realize it was coming right for us was fractions of a second. I remember grabbing my friend again, my throat sank into my stomach. The UFO as it approached with rapid speed set out a bright beam of light. It hit us standing there under the glass ceiling and then I woke up. My girlfriend was in bed with me and I was certain I hadn't really been taken but I just felt like that dream was so real. I awoke pretty violently as I had just been trying to flee an abduction. So it woke up my girlfriend. She was all freaked out. I told her I had a bad dream. Naturally she wanted to know but I told her it was far too scary so she was good with that explanation and went back to bed. I didn't go back to sleep. I stayed up until morning. It might seem like it wasn't too scary of an occurrence but since it was a lucid dream I could feel the terror and panic that was around me. I genuinely felt like it was real and in that moment I was going to be taken. It's not the only time I've had bad dreams like this. I had a few surgeries over the past year (appendix, tonsils, knee) and I've had to take pain medicine. I don't know if it's a documented side effect but the pain meds gave me terrible dreams. Dreams so bad that I won't even try to describe them. There were nights/days where I didn't want to sleep. I remember with my tonsils it was the worst. My pain was so damn bad that I was on very strong meds and would take double every 4 hours. Not even every 6. I had to or it was unbearable. I was having violent nightmares. It was so bad that I even stayed up for like 30+ hours. Then when I finally fell asleep I couldn't wake myself. I felt like I went through an eternity that night. I don't know why but my dreams while I'm on pain medicine are very disturbing and always end with me violently waking up. Then I force myself to stay awake to avoid going right back into them.
