Lurker here, but upvote/downvoter. I assume these 'shills' are people like me - here because I am interested in learning about alternative viewpoints and new ideas, and annoyed by how many posts are just people spouting easily debunked propaganda they assume is part of a conspiracy because people tell them to shut up whenever they post it on facebook.

This sub is weird because there is speculation and research about conspiracies and then there are people just evangelizing their own brainwashing. They just think it belongs here because one part of what they have been brainwashed to believe is "there is a conspiracy going on, but don't worry, you are too smart and special to believe it." But then they post something that is only interesting or believable to people who are in their subculture already. Then they get downvoted because it is boring and embarrassing.

And because people uncovering actual conspiracies are attacked for their beliefs, these people assume that getting attacked for theirs PROVES that their beliefs are true.
