Anyone else have problems with constant negative thoughts preventing you from living life?

Many of those thoughts are literally cognitive distortions, which is why, as mentioned already, cognitive behavioral therapy would be great for you.

And some tough love you might need to hear: your progress through therapy is 100% dependent on your effort. No one can solve these things for you, they can only give you the tools for you to improve your own life.

As far as meds go, you might have to try a dozen or more until you find something that works. Often times, the right med is a combination of meds.

Don't neglect your physical health or personal environment either, they're a critical part of your mental health regardless of how disconnected they may seem.
