Woman that lived upstairs my parents when I was a kid had schizophrenia. She was divorced and her kids went to my school.

One time she pushed her mother and hurt her pretty bad. She even tried to push my father down the stairs, because he used to be the only one that faced her when she would start screaming and knock our door. Im pretty sure she got obsessed in a romantic way with my dad, because he moved there after breaking up with my mom and she got really interested on him. But then my parents got back together, and then she would put her anger on us. The times she would scream, even opening the windows, saying she would leave the gas open and kill us all. She would always shout at random times. Once I was about to get to bed when she started the show, I tried to made the less noise possible but I failed miserably and she heard it, she screamed stop making noise or I will fuck you up lol. Now it's an anechdote but then I was pretty scared. The cops came so many times. She got in jail a couple times too for all the threats and got ordered away from her mother and from most of the neighbors. They told me when she was in jail she would refuse to eat because she thought they wanted to poison her. And when the neighbours (just my parents and an old couple) went to court against her, she wouldnt stop looking at them. The prosecutor made her look away.

Last thing I know is that her illness got pretty bad, to the point she was institutionalized, and my parents saw her on a weelchair. Now his oldest son is living there with her gf. And I can hear his dog cry when he's been alone for a long time. So many stories on this house and it's not that many years living there damn lol.
