i play mainly solo offlane, mostly against dual or trilane.

my average kda in 6.86 is around 7 kda

I never go manta style because it doesnt really scale well, mainly for basic dispel but other than that its useless. illusion doesnt do the dps justice.

my kda before 6.86 was averagely 3.2 as i mainly play basher + mom build which is pretty squishy without the current ulti.

for the ulti, its very useful.

few scenarios

1. initiation blink strike in, smoke screen, ulti, blink dagger out for safety or finishing [basher for stun proc]. repeat every 30 sec

2. solo kill on basically any heroes [spec/sven/pl etc]

hit, smoke, purge, if proc bkb or manta, use ulti to find out the real then blink, or blink strike and hit and then ulti to finish.

ulti gives u 5 seconds time to adjust, against heroes like sven, u use ulti to escape and exhaust his 5 - 10 sec bkb. when his bkb is down, he is basically a dead meat provided you still have purge.

1. escape against dust/charge or ulti like omnislash

in early laning phase, when dusted the effect stays for 12 seconds, you can blink strike away to creep, then juke a bit and use ulti and wait till the dust effect disappears then you are safe.

against jugg/slark/spec early game,

-spec will always think he is great against you in 1v1, due to his desolate, you can manfight him in smoke, make him think he can finish you and when you are 40/30% health you use ulti, he most likely just wait there and let you hit him 3 - 4 times, then you finish with blink strike.

on jugg - you can smoke and hit, make him think he can omnislash u and kill, but you gotta be quick in hitting R the moment he used the ulti, usually if you are fast enough his ulti hit you only once and then your ulti will hit him at least 3 times as he will "idle" there for few secs, thinking his ulti is still on.

• on killing supports ~ if their team has a lot of mobile and disabling supports like lion, rubick, you can consider going deso after diffusal, for quick kills using ulti [during fight just blink in to lion/ other squishies support with core skills, smoke asap and finish with ulti ]

~ on juking enemy, most of the time when you gank radiant safelane t1 /offlane secret or generally any juke areas, your ulti helps , u dont even need to know where they hide, just open your ulti it will hit them in the fog as long as they are within the radius.
