Asylum seeker who walked across border denied refugee status

You seem to be conveniently ignoring some hard facts he, himself has given to the refugee board, so let me fill you in.

He claims to have been gay since 12 this didnt go over well with his family and he was "forced" to marry a woman. He then went on to have not one, not two, but three children with this woman. This is a glaring contradiction to his claim. He has not produced proper identification and the board has found his refugee claim to be unfounded. My.son is gay he does not find women attractive in a sexual way, clearly this guy could not say the same.

I am no hillbilly hick or armchair mama's boy who lives in his parent's basement, I am middle class taxpayer who is infuriated by these claims that have gaping holes in them. I have faith in our system and faith in the American system, and I trust they have given this claimant a fair shot and heard all the evidence he provided. I am glad they are not swayed by heartstrings or emotions as you are.

I feel the Yazidi's should come before a fighting age male with a sketchy story. I feel the women and children on the Jordanian border should come before these chancers. I feel we should be evacuating families being bombed in Yemen before wasting time on these border/queue hoppers.

I don't think Canada takes enough of the world's vulnerable, we could do more but these people take time and resources and I hope our system continues to operate like it has because it works.
