The bad pr on social media about presto procedures, has caught up to ttc operators

Sure presto SHOULD work. So should every feature/app of my Apple Wallet. And on a normal day either credit or debit machines are working. But not every day is regular. I have seen been at the grocery store when all the machines went down. Okay, leave the groceries behind and let some poor minimum wage slob put everything back. Or Tim Hortons, that happened to me just the other day. No Tims card. Had to find an alternate way to pay. Or you could hurl racist insults at the temporary foreign worker while demanding a free coffee. End of the day, life is full of inconveniences. I understand free bus rides. Really hard to be prepared for that. But if you expect a free subway ride because its inconvenient to use an alternate form of payment, if you joined the downvote brigade because you are too sorry a soul to deal with the most minor inconvenience without throwing a tantrum... then stay in mom's basement because you are not prepared for life. Downvote away. When you can't pay for your Starbucks because your (or their) electronics failed... I might be the nice guy who offers up a few bucks CASH to pay for you.
