Being a 4'11", 112lbs girl and rolling with bigger guys

After about a month in, I was doing some rounds. Faced both wbs that tore through me before, a couple of other end and a blue. It was my first day not getting tapped and I was maintaining some good positions, until my last round.

It was this blue belt woman (only seen her once since this, I think she's from the early class), roughly your height and probably a little heavier, I being 6'4 and 270 at the time. As I do with substantially smaller people, I let them pick guard or passing first. Well, the round begins and I instantly find myself in closed guard. Not only in CG, but my arms were trapped to my sides and she broke my posture instantly. Face full of hot and sweaty gi while completely defenseless, for literally almost two full minutes, it was the worst bjj experience I've had. In a self defense situation my only option would've been to slam her at this point. However, I would've been using a lot of strength with my posture broken and who is to say she couldn't prevent me from slamming her that hard to begin with.

So she ends up having to let go because neither of could do anything at that point. I try to pass her guard (her short legs were able to regard fairly easily) and wound up in turtle to prevent a back take. One rolling back take and bow and arrow later, she had me tapping. It was awesome and quite the learning experience.

I figured you might enjoy this anecdote. Though I'm far from the over aggressive wb, I'm still really big and I was completely controlled and then submitted by someone of similar size to you. If you keep training, you could do it too
