Before the Europeans arrived, America was broken up into areas held by tribes who raped and enslaved each other over territory and the average lifespan was about 35.

Socialism is a nice idea. Eutopiuous even, if you don’t consider the human factor. Read the gulag archipelago and about Vietnam prisoners of war, the Israeli conflict, the rise of the 3rd Reich, the fall of Rome, the Che rebellion, etc...just read history.

It has NEVER worked. Not once. The most successful societies thrive on a healthy competitive society. As soon as they try to equalize, they fail within a relatively short period of time.

Maybe humanity will evolve to the point where we can all get along, but look around you at your own neighborhood. If you spread your cash and asset deeds out on the floor and said to your neighbors “take what you think you deserve”, how foolish would you feel a year later?
