I can respond to this! The earlier messages no longer give me a reply option. I wanted to let you know we are going through with a purchase. Your note about having been disappointed before but to not give up was so accurate, only I didn't know it at the time just how accurate. We were interested in some land near our son's house but the developer who owned it seemed a little "sketchy" to us and we never pursued it. After that you did your reading. He then posted houses he would build there - all too high for our budget. Then 10 days ago he posted two within our budget, We met with him and he was the greatest guy and now we are finalizing a design. Tomorrow we go to the bank and see if we can get a construction loan (he even dropped the price $15k if we got the construction loan for the build). I am very nervous about getting the loan, but I know it will happen one way or another. Thank you for your wonderful advice.
