The biggest statements of this game was D Rose making up for 3 missing players, our 2nd unit didn't have a PG, and everyone pretty much shot efficiently on the floor.

Long time Bulls fan. Watched his development during his tenure with the Bulls. One thing that’s for sure is Derrick flourishes when he’s the primary ball handler under Thib’s system. Very unproductive as a two guard. It was painful to watch him stand in a corner while Teague and Crawford took the bulk of the shots last year. I’m happy to see that Thibs upped his usage this season. It seems that he’s looking to get in the free throw line more which is encouraging. Thibs still employ some plays that are very effective for Rose (the set play that led to the Joel Anthony poster against the heat). He likes to probe and will attack mismatches. He will attack the rim if a 4 or 5 switches on him. He likes to create separation with more able defenders using high pick and rolls. I really like that he’s giving KAT lots of good looks. I’ll never not check Drose’s stats and highlights after every game. I hope that he comes back to Chicago and retire someday. Happy for this fanbase to get a taste of Rose. Cheers
