GAME THREAD: New York Knicks (13-53) @ Minnesota Timberwolves (31-35) - (March 10, 2019)

I'm actually happy with tonight

I miss the big fella and I know he's going to be back soon, but it's a feel good win. We know we're not really in the playoff hunt so the pressure is off, and we are finally able to see what the young players we have can do and it looks really impressive what KBD has been able to do and what Okogie has been doing all season. I think a full off-season will also be good for Okogie to recover as he's been going really hard the whole season and you can tell he's getting a bit tired

I love D-Rose and I hope we keep him, but a part of me wants to see him to go a team that's not the Sixers to hopefully have a better shot of winning right now. However, the way he's played this season, and how much he seems to like the team, indicates to me he may be willing to sign with us longer term and that would be awesome and the preferred outcome as I would like to keep our second best player

I know we will have to face the reality of the Teague + Wiggins + Dieng contracts in the summer, but Teague has shown out a bit tonight and that feels good too

I hope we sign Cam and use these next 14 games to give the rookies a good amount of burn. I also hope we can keep Taj, he's such an important part of this team and I wouldn't want to see him leave for anything. Same with Lu, he's been so important the games he played and provides great experience and a veteran presence

I know the motto is "what can go wrong in Minnesota sports will go wrong", but I'm at least optimistic for our future. Until we lose again that is

Good night everyone
