Maybe I wasn't clear what happened to me today. I'm not super familiar with that area of Boston, but I walked along the Charles until I couldn't anymore, past Longfellow, past science museum etc. there's a really narrow sidewalk that wraps around and dead ends at the train track bridge over the river. At the end of the sidewalk between the bridge and the railing over the river, Is a cop. I walk to the end even though it's a dead end and he's standing there and it will be kind of awkward. I get to the end, and he asks if I'm a family member. I asked what he meant. He said well this is the last known location of the missing kid. A lot of family have been coming up here so I thought you were another one. I asked him how they knew, was it a cell phone ping or what. He said they have video of him walking alone right where we were standing and hopping over onto the bridge Into the darkness and that's it. He said there are no cameras beyond that point or on the other side so they don't know what exactly happened but that it would seem he must have slipped and fell into the water. So that's that. I turned around walked back, and headed around the back of north station not really knowing where I was headed. I crossed city plaza and low and behold right in front of me is the Boston city market and bell in hand. It was only like a ten minute walk. Seriously. And I didn't know the area at all either. I don't know why he left and went to that bridge. But according to LE that's what happened. He walked up there alone, with no coat on. It's still strange and I'm sure there are other details missing... It feels kind of shitty to be talking about all this like its a detective show when it involves real people and families and lives. I honestly walked up there just to see if I saw anything strange because I felt bad and wanted to help in some way. I might delete this post because I don't know if these details are supposed to be public knowledge, but I also thought it might be helpful since there is so much speculation.
